Quiksilver USA team members Balaram Stack & Chase Wilson joined up with Tofino B.C's Raph Bruhwiler for a pretty solid three days of surf. Remote left hand point surf, big chunky tubes, some rights near Tofino, Killer whales. These guys got to see it all in a very short visit. Coming to surf in Tofino and not surfing beach break is a rare experience not many get to experience unless they come and visit Raph. Click Here.

GOPRO"N AROUND JUNO I decided to take a break from shooting other surfers and focus on myself this week. Over the past two weeks I've been having some issues with my gear. My still camera broke, was sent out, fixed and returned broke, thanks guys!. #2 THE REFRACTION CHRONICLES It wasn't big and it wasn't perfect but when a hard NW wind blows in South Florida for 24 hours you can count your pennies that there will be a swell in the morning. The problem most of us face is when and where to surf. It’s a freakish event that takes place during the winter that most surfers know about but don’t use the words to loosely. It’s the reason why I love surfing in South Florida during the winter, it’s the Refraction Swell. Continue Story.

BARLARAM STACK SCORES PERFECT 10 AT THE VOLCOM PIPE PRO IN HI
Once again an East Coaster is turning heads at the Banzai Pipeline and this time it's New York’s Balaram Stack scoring a perfect 10 on a huge A-frame peak at the Volcom Pipe Pro. Stack also put an extra $1,000 in his pocket for scoring one of a few perfect tens at the event, thanks to ELECRIC. Puerto Rico's Dylan Graves and Maui's Dusty Payne also scored perfect tens lining their pockets with some extra cash. Check out Stack's highlights from round 64 heat 11!
ATLANTIC SURF GIRL #3 CHRISTINA PHILLIPS
Atlantic Surf Life recently met up with Chirstina Phillips down at South Pointe Park in South Beach, Florida. Christina and her Mom spent 3 hours on the beach with me shooting all different styles and locations. HELP PROTECT OUR BREAKS
The Department of Transportation is about to build two bridges, one at Pea Island and one at S-Turns, one of the best surf breaks on the East Coast. If you didn't know, both spots were washed away during Hurricane Irene in 2010. The plans as of now will limited parking at S-Turns. Quiksilver Pro New York 2012 Cancelled I am a little bummed out today to find out that the Quiksilver Pro New York in 2012 has been cancelled but at the same time I am not surprised. 2011 turned out to be one of the best stops on tour and with all the issues it almost never happened. Continue Story
