Balaram stack BARLARAM STACK SCORES PERFECT 10 AT THE VOLCOM PIPE PRO IN HI
Once again an East Coaster is turning heads at the Banzai Pipeline and this time it's New York’s Balaram Stack scoring a perfect 10 on a huge A-frame peak at the Volcom Pipe Pro. Stack also put an extra $1,000 in his pocket for scoring one of a few perfect tens at the event, thanks to ELECRIC. Puerto Rico's Dylan Graves and Maui's Dusty Payne also scored perfect tens lining their pockets with some extra cash. Check out Stack's highlights from round 64 heat 11!

The Department of Transportation is about to build two bridges, one at Pea Island and one at S-Turns, one of the best surf breaks on the East Coast. If you didn't know, both spots were washed away during Hurricane Irene in 2010. The plans as of now will limited parking at S-Turns. The Girls event has wrapped up and the men had a lay day because of heavy winds and nasty weather at the Billabong Rio Pro. This is the first ASP event this season to be held in the Atlantic Ocean. Carissa Moore won the Girls Event and the Men have completed the first day of competition.

Kelly Slater ten times ASP World Champion. Exhibiting perfect control Kelly Slater pops this front side aerial landing it cleanly during the quarterfinals. Bede Durbidge could not respond with a perfect 10 point ride of his own and finished the final in a combination situation needed 18.78. Kelly Slater pocketed the US $75000 winners Check and his first Rip Curl Search trophy for beating Bede Durbidge in the final. This is Kelly's 10th World Title!

1st Esa ConTEST for PB Florida
It wasn't big and it wasn't flat for the first ESA contest of the 2010-2011 year in West Palm Beach Florida. The surf was about waist high with some chest high wind swell rolling in. 43rd EAS EASTERNS, Cape Hatteras NC 2010
For over 43 years the best surfers on the east coast are invited to Cape Hatteras, NC to compete in the ESA Easterns. This year Hurricane Igor sent some heavy surf and north of the Hatteras Light House making conditions not surf able for the first two days of the event. On the days off most surfers went Free surfing.
